Wells
Although not spectacular pictures, these two images of Wells-next-the-Sea
mean a lot to me.
The first is a view of the old granary which goes right over the main quayside
road. Taken with a 19mm wide angle, as far as I can remember.
The next shot was taken shortly before my last 'call-out' with HM Coastguard, on
a perfectly still summer's day.

Fireworks
Not much you can say about these really. They're of fireworks - and in the
second one you can see Norwich Cathedral in the distance.
Both taken handheld on two different nights.

Swaffham Wind Turbine & Contrasty Sky
Both taken very early morning, the first is of Swaffham's second wind
turbine.
The second was an experiment in manual exposures - I guessed at an exposure that
would leave the ground in front of me about four stops under exposed, and this
was the result. It's a shame about the lens flare, but some people would
say it's a good thing...

Norwich
Norwich Castle and scanned slide film shot of some flats by the river -
taken with a sepia grad filter at the bottom of the frame, angled clockwise.

More of Norwich
Two black and white / duotone shots,
The bridge was taken on Ilford HP5 and printed at home, and the strange
colouring was the result of out of date chemicals! A red filter was used
when shooting to add contrast to the sky.
The second picture is the Forum in Norwich, which house the Millennium Library
and is now the home of BBC Norfolk. Taken with the Canon EOS 30D,
simulating b&w with a red filter. (If this was done with normal film and a
real filter, the effect on the sky would've been more pronounced.)

Stormy Sky & Ducks on the Boating Lake
Unaltered shots, but nothing that great. Taken handheld with the EOS
30D - it's low light sensing seems good.

Norwich Cathedral and Doorway to a Church
The first pic is Norwich Cathedral, after a few days of snow.
The second is the doorway out of a church. I don't really like churches or
cathedrals - I find them eerie places, and don't like to roam too far from the
door, so although to most people the photo might bring feelings of peace and
warmth, to me it brings a slight panic and makes me feel cold.
I don't mind places when there are other people around, but I remember when I
wandered in to this church, I was completely alone, which is why I ignored the
beautiful wooden ceiling and ornate stained glass window - I just wanted to get
out!
