Those of you who aren't from Norfolk
(and some of you who are) probably won't know what Squit is. I
could take up a whole page just explaining it to you, but it's probably easier
if you look up on the
FOND website.
Type Squit into Microsoft Word and apply the spellchecker, and you'll be shown
Squat, Squirt, Squint, Squid, Suit and Squib - none of which do Squit any
justice.
Squit is rubbish, useless information, or nonsense.
That's why I like the word, and it's use, so much. How else could you say
"Cor blars me, thass sum rum squit bor. Don' yew go crockin a yaw mawther."?
An invaluable sentence, I'm sure you'll agree. Wiki has a good page on the
